About Jeff Robinson
St. Louis, MO. native, playwright, actor, director and musician
Jeff Robinson was nominated for Best Actor by the Independent
Reviewers of New England (IRNE) for his portrayal of Charlie
Parker in the play. Jeff was nominated for a Best Actor
award by IRNE for his performance as the Stage Manager in the
Wheelock Family Theatre production of Our Town.
He has appeared in many plays, films and commercials.
He has directed several plays including Pearl Cleage's "Blues
for an Alabama Sky" which he received an IRNE nomination
for Best Director. Robinson directed Craig Lucass Reckless
for Theatre Zone and also his self-scripted Alley Cats
at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) in Boston, MA.
with the Baldwin Theatre Company
He is an alumni of Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA
were he studied with saxophonist Bill Pierce and George Garzone.
He has studied theatre at the New Theatre Conservatory in
Boston and privately with Oleg Tabakov, who is the artistic
director of the famed Moscow Art Theatre Company. He has studied
with the lengendary voice and Shakespeare scholar Kristin
Linklater. His band the Jeff Robinson Trio, perform in the
